Transport & Logistics positions in the North East Full-time Part-time Temporary

Tribe Recruitment are urgently recruiting for a number of Class 1, Class 2 / Cat C, C 1 and  Class 1 / C+E Drivers for work throughout the North East. Roles will vary from Multi drop to Trunking, covering both day and night shifts, and you will be responsible for the safe delivery of goods to a variety of customers throughout the UK.

Duties will involve but not limited to:

·Ensuring goods are delivered in a safe and secure manner, keeping your vehicle in good condition and road legal.

·Loading and unloading the vehicle via tail lift with pallet truck when needed

·Completing delivery paperwork

This position requires the following:

·To hold the correct category on driving licence

·Have no more than 6 penalty points

·Have a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/ Driver CPC

·A valid Digital Tachograph Card

·Physically active due to the nature of the role; dealing with heavy goods

·Fluent in English as constant communication with colleagues and customers will be needed

Salary: Based on type of license – £9.00 p/h – £14.50 p/h
